Sean Goral is one of the finest insurance agents in Northern Virginia. He will identify quickly the lowest-cost comprehensive coverage possible, and represents a great company, Erie, rated as the best by customers in 2023 for satisfaction. In my experience, Sean offers a very competitive package to cover home, auto, and umbrella (legal liability) personal insurance needs. This is an industry in which it’s possible to pay a lot for insurance and there are large companies which spend huge amounts on advertising. Some work only directly with customers like Amica. Others work only through agents. Every rating agency has different ratings and reviews, and there are various compilations. Reviews in many sites are in the nature of complaints because such customers want to express their unhappiness. There are advantages in going to a smaller and more selective company which operates only in twelve states, like Erie, through a high-quality agent, such as Sean, who will give you personal attention and later advocate, if needed, for the client. I have learned a lot from speaking with Sean and another Erie agent like him. Legacy Insurance is a friendly agency which communicates quickly and follows up. In that aspect, Sean is persistent, on top of being excellent at sales. Of course, it’s important to have good credit and a good driving record to get the best quotes, and to understand that insurance is about transferring risk, not normal maintenance costs. Ultimately, insurance companies need to make a profit to stay in business.

Hadn’t had a review of my insurance policies in years but Kathryn Ivey of Legacy Insurance Group was recommended and she did a wonderful job, making it easy for me to switch policies. This will save me close to $500 for the year
